Are you licensed?​

Yes. Our program is fully licensed and operates in accordance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations.

What are your program hours?

We offer evening and overnight care Monday through Thursday, four nights a week. Drop-off begins at 6:00 PM, and pickup is strictly by 8:00 AM the following morning.

What items should my child bring?

Clean fitted sheets for beds are provided by our program. Families may send a small personal blanket or comfort item from home to help their child feel safe and secure.

Can my child sleep in their own pajamas?

Yes! Children must arrive at drop-off already bathed and dressed in clean pajamas for the night.

Are meals provided during care?

Yes. We provide meals to help ensure your child is comfortable and well cared for throughout their stay.

​

Dinner: Dinner is served shortly after arrival, between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. If your child will be eating dinner with us, please ensure they arrive on time.

Grab & Go Breakfast: Beginning & Beyond provides a Grab & Go Breakfast Bag for your child to take with them at departure.

What ages do you accept?

We accept children ages 2 to 5 years old.

What happens if I am late for pickup?

Our program closes promptly at 8:00 AM.

A late fee of $15 for the first 15 minutes, plus $1 per minute thereafter, will be added to your weekly payment. The late fee must be paid before the start of the following week.

How do bedtime routines work?

We follow a structured bedtime routine designed to help children wind down comfortably and safely. The routine includes:

• Dinner

• Clean-up and quiet play

• Brushing teeth

• Reading a bedtime story

• Dimming the lights

• Settling in for bedtime

What is your policy on administering medication?

Our program is not authorized to administer routine medications.

The only exception is the emergency use of a prescribed epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen), which requires the appropriate medical documentation to be on file.

Please ensure all daily medications are administered at home before drop-off.

Are you trained in emergency care?

Yes. I am fully CPR and First Aid certified for Child, Infant, and Adult care, ensuring your child is in safe and capable hands throughout the evening and overnight hours.
